Summer in Provence is food for the soul.
Its simple farm-to-table lifestyle, with tiny villages paved in cobblestone, defies all modernity.
Cars, computers, TV, fast-food drive-thru are the devil’s doing in these vintage villages. Churches lit with hundreds of tiny living, glowing candles in red and cobalt glass, remind us of a devotion that sustained many centuries, many wars, many generations before, and still does so now.

Summer 2022, Roland painted his first lavender fields, where a sea of purple perfume truly intoxicated him and his canvases.
By mid-July, the crops were harvested to be transformed into calming essential oils and hundreds of other products that support these glorious lavender farms.
In perfect sequence, after the lavender, each day the sunflowers grew to tall smiling stems, home to hundreds of honey-bees and a “Plein Air” artist’s mecca.
