Chateau Cay Waves

This natural phenomena of constant waves from a shallow shoal reef on the northern French side of St. Martin attracts visitors from all over the world to a look-out point where two worlds seem to converge. Waves roll from two distinct directions in constant, ceaseless pattern, split by the small piece of land that resembles a chateau. When tide is low, you can walk from the shore to the first little island where shells and coral and lots of sand dollars are to be found. Years past, families would gather to dig clams at low tide. I have happy memories with each of my children introducing them to this natural wonder.
